You can return any item to us within 14 days of ordering for a refund, provided it is in its original, unworn condition and in its original packaging.
If you wish to return your item we advise you do so via a recorded trackable service. This will ensure that your order reaches us safely and if it does get lost in transit it can be traced.
However if you do choose to use a standard service which may mean your order is unable to be tracked we cannot be held responsible for it if lost, therefore we will be unable to process your refund.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund on any items that are not fully suitable for a re-sale. This does not affect your statutory rights. These items will be returned to you at your expense.
Some products are non-returnable for hygiene reasons. This is indicated in the product description.
When making a Return you must ensure you fill in your order/invoice number on the returns note. Failure to do so will cause delays in processing your return.
Under the UK Distance Selling Regulations, you have 7 working days (upon receipt of your goods) to cancel the contract for your order with us. If you wish to cancel your order, you must let us know by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have already received the items, they must be returned to us immediately, unworn in their original packaging and condition. This will need to be returned in accordance with our stated returns process.

Complete your returns slip and take your item to any post office where you should obtain and retain a proof of postage. Upon receipt of your item we will happily issue you your refund/exchange.

Exchanges can take up to 10 days to be processed from receipt to us. Once an exchange has been approved it will be sent out to you free of charge. If we are unable to exchange the item we will email you and offer a full refund minus the original shipping charge to your account. Please note you may only make an exchange on the same item once.
One of our top priorities at owntherunway.com is that you receive the highest quality of goods from us. If you have received an item that is not of this standard, or is incorrect in any way follow the Returns process. Please ensure that you complete the returns slip by ticking the box stating that your item is incorrect or faulty and attach a note specifying your requirements. Upon receipt of your item, we will either despatch a replacement item or issue you with a full refund.

If you cancel the contract under the DSR 7 day Cooling Off period, we will refund the amount due to you as soon as possible and, in any case; within 30 days of the day you have given notice of your cancellation. In this case, we will refund the price of the product in full.
Products returned by you because of a defect will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery charges for sending the item to you.
In the event that we do not receive the returned goods, we will ask you to provide the certificate of posting from the Post Office as proof of postage. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if you are unable to provide the certificate of posting.
We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.
All Credit Notes which are issued are valid for 12 months from the date issued.
